Is there take out??
Food was disappointing overall. It was bland, portions are small, and the ingredients were not fresh. The calamari appetizer was veggies with some calamari rings. I am really turned off when restaurants skimp like this. On the plus side, service was pleasant and reasonably speedy. We paid $50 (inclusive of tip) for the appetizer and two mains.
MorePerfect for celabrations
I had the BBQ minced pork, Very authentic flavour, would come here again!
Cozy little venue with a robust offering of Vietnamese dishes. They bring you a sample of a few dishes to try, fresh from the kitchen over the course of your stay and I must say that the General Tao and the Saigon steak were incredible and I will definitely order one of them next time. I had ordered the dumplings with peanut sauce to start and they were easily some of the best I've ever had. As for the main course, I ordered the noodle stir-fry with children and shrimp and it was absolutely delicious. The portions were just enough and when you ask for spicy, you actually get spicy. The service was good and the staff were friendly and overall the place had an atmosphere of comfort and familiarity. I will be going again and would recommend to friends.
MorePortions are small and a little bit expensive. Good food
Really good food and friendly service. Very fresh, and cooked perfectly. Atmosphere was quite nice compared to a lot of Vietnamese places. I don't believe they took cards, however, but I do remember there being an ATM.
MoreGreat experience! The food was absolutely delicious. Excellent quality price ratio, the vibe is super relaxed and the staff was very professional, polite and attentive. Thank you!
MoreIt was amazing! 10/10 all around. Food was great and I received the best service I've had in a long time. Would definitely recommend!
MoreReally good food and ambiance
Great Viet restaurant with some Thai meals. Everything is tasty and fresh.
I go here often. That staff is always friendly and welcoming, the service is great and so is the food.
MoreIt’s nice place to eat Asian food and you can bring your own drinks which is cool
MoreOne of my favourite restaurants in Montreal! The food is delicious and the staff is so great! Bring your own alcool and you cash cash cuz they don't have debit/credit... That is where they loose that last star... The rest is amazing!
MoreYummy food decently priced plus bring your own bottle. One Thing: they do not accept credit cards
MoreOne of the best Pho places I've been to. Great ambience and even better food.
Great food for the price. General Tao chicken is simply out of this world! Simple, efficient, BOYB. Recommended!
MoreAwesome restaurant but hard to find but worth it! Really good food and not expensive!!!! And of course, you can bring your own wine!
MoreYou can't get better value that this place. The food is delicious, service is quick and courteous. Some of the best Vietnamese food I've had in the city. Bring your own wine and cash only. I suggest making reservations, it can get busy!
MoreAmazing food, amazing staff! Strongly recommend! 10/10
Greatest Vietnamese joint ever! Staff is soo attentive, friendly and intuitive it amazes me! Food is delicious and amazingly priced for the great quality they're providing. I'm definitely returning!!!
MoreGreat food, good service like always. It was the first time there for my wife and she enjoyed it.You must try the General Tao and the Peanut butter dishes.
MoreGreat food and tremendous service!!
Good food and great customer service! My companion and I reached the restaurant at around 945 (near their closing hours) but despite that they offered us a seat at the restaurant and continued to serve us way past their opening hours. Food was delicious and amazing, really good Vietnamese food. Prices were affordable for what they were offering.
MoreI used to work across the street from this place and would go semi-regularly for lunch. Always a delight, delicious food and friendly service. We made a point of coming back when we were in the neighbourhood for the evening recently. I was not disappointed, the food was exactly as delicious as expected and the owner? recognised me from when I used to frequent the place more regularly.
MoreThe meal is too sweet, the sauce is not authentic, definitely not real Vietnamese food. We waited for more than an hour and they were totally confused about the food we ordered, people arrived after us even got food earlier than us. Not recommended!!!
MoreFantastic place. Can't get better food for your buck
Delicious and intimate setting for Vietnamese and assortment of Asian cuisine .
They cut on portions, it used to be a nice place to eat and good food. Even the peanut sauce was so liquid you don’t even taste the peanut. They will lose costumer this way ... we were 3 and our portions were so small at the end we were still hungry! Not good ...
MoreCame by for a business lunch, food was served quiet fast, and the food was good too! Bring your own wine and bring cash. Only money is accepted here. If not there is an ATM, the atm that cost quiet a bit to withdraw money.
MoreBest general Tao chicken in Montréal everything is good there!!
A nice Vietnamese menu selection and the quality is consistent and the taste is always really good. Never disappointed whenever I go there with friends or colleagues from work. Everyone I brought there have been back because they love the food. They use to have really good sandwiches on the menu however they only have them at the sister location north of the city now.Still only accepts cash, so debit payment would give them a perfect 5 stars!
MoreSuper good food. Awesome atmosphere. Yay!
Been going to this place for over a year now. The place speaks for itself, the reputation and how busy they are explains how good the food is. It's most certainly and definitely the best for the value. The food is not expensive at all for the quality and the amazing taste and don't forget that best of all it's bring your own wine. The owner is always on the floor and the kitchen taking care of serving everybody. Keep up the good work...
MoreVery slow and un-coordinated staff. Food was passable, at best, but truly uninspired and more like "Asian fusion" with only rudimentary Vietnamese cuisine.
MoreÀ BYOB resto with a lot of atmosphere. Food is standard affair with your general tao, Tom yam soups and fried noodle dishes. Client volume is enormous during peak hours so expect a wait. Quick service and the staff are friendly and helpful.
MoreGreat place, staff and food. You can even bring your own beer.
Been going to this restaurant since I was 6 years old. The food is delicious and the owner is super friendly, I highly recommend!
MoreLoved it! Food is reasonably priced and so tasty. Staff is friendly, quick and helpful. The owners are always present and just simply really nice people!
MoreWow every bite was incredible. Wish I lived here. cash only but they have an ATM
10 stars !! Awesome place with decent priced menu! Would recommend this over any fancy restaurant. Love the staff, the atmosphere and the food! Don't believe me? Go ahead and try it yourselves :)
MoreSuper friendly owner, nice ambiance, delicious food. My personal preference would have been less sugary (or even better sugar-free) broths. Nonetheless, a 5-star experience!
MoreThe service at this restaurant was great, however, the inside was pretty dark and the pad thai I ordered was definitely not traditional pad thai. It included pieces of chicken thigh and prawns and was very greasy and oily.
MoreExcellent fresh and authentic Vietnamese at this BYOB hole-in-the-wall. It feels a little "seedy", but not in a bad way, which, in my opinion ADDS to the character of the upbeat, jovial and happy atmosphere. The owner is charming, and again, food excellent. Make it your new go-to in Montreal for a casual and fun dinner. If you have to wait in line, it's worth it.
MoreWe ordered spring rolls and calamari for a quick appetizer, and we only got one spring roll. The calamari was quite disappointing. How does this establishment have 4.5 stars? I hope the entrees are better.
MoreOkay, so I’ve been coming to Montreal for years (I’m from South Florida). I always stay in the gay village area. This restaurant deserves the five stars — hands down! The food is genuine fresh and delicious! While he space is simple and unassuming, the service is impeccable!
MoreThis place is crazily lovely, I might be so addicted to their food but I went there 4 times in 2 days only specially to keep having their spicy Saté soup (recommended).
MoreNice food, cheap priced, friendly staff
I've been going there for years. Great food, great service, great place. I love their General Tao chicken and they have my favorite imperial rolls.
MoreMY NEW LOVE AMAZING HOOKED FOR LIFE
One of the best South Asian cuisine in Montreal period.
